The Big 3 - Outstanding Achievements

The Big 3 in one go

Mike Hartley completed all three rounds consecutively in 3 days 14 hours and 20 minutes in July 1990.  That's some 187 miles with 83000 feet of ascent involving 113 tops!  Times for each round were as follows:

The Big 3 as Double Rounds

Nicky Spinks is the only person to have completed the Big 3 rounds as doubles.  Her times were as follows:

Bob Graham Round                  43 hours 30 minutes  (2016)

Charlie Ramsay Round             56 hours 56 minutes  (2018)

Paddy Buckley Round               57 hours 27 minutes  (2019)

John Kelly completed the Big 3 rounds by foot and bike in a total time of 130 hours 43 mins during August 2020.  That is 190 miles of running with 84,000' ascent  plus 400 miles of cycling from Capel Curig to Fort William in well under 6 days.
