Lonscale Pike (Tim Ripper 2017)

This is a mega-horseshoe of the Lakes that takes in the 29 pikes of a height of 700m or more which are named on OS maps.  It covers some 88 miles and 40,000 feet of ascent starting at Kentmere over in the eastern fells and ending at Broughton Mills north of Broughton- in-Furness.  The challenge, inspired by Beth Ripper, was devised and completed by Tim Ripper on 3 September 2017 in a time of 32 hours 28 minutes.
