This is a 55 mile trail running challenge linking 13 limestone summits that encircle Morecambe Bay. It was inaugurated by Tom Philip's in June 2020 with a time of 12-02. The route covers a variety of terrain including coastal marsh, canal, open fell, paths and bridleways, meadows, and about 7 miles on quiet lanes. The starting point is Kents Bank station which can be accessed by a 10 minute train ride from the finishing point at Arnside Pier. It is requested that people stick to the specified route to avoid busy road crossings and sensitive areas.
Finishers can enter their names on a Roll of Honour subject to raising or donating at least fifty pounds to charity. A dedicated website provides comprehensive information on the round - see link below.
